A lemon aperitivo, made from the whole fruit, not concentrates and "natural" aromas.

Imagine homemade lemonade with fresh-pressed lemon juice — then mixed with our Limoncello. Carbonated and ready to pour.

We hand-peel Sicilian lemons for our Limoncello. Limonata Sour uses that same peel extraction, combined with fresh-pressed juice from the same fruit. Two parts of one lemon, sparkling, aperitivo strength.

No stabilisers, no concentrate — made in Austria.

Closer to a Limoncello Spritz than a beer. One bottle, one refreshing drink. Pour it over ice — that's it.

LIMONATA SOUR FAQ

We made something new. Here's exactly how — and why.
  • We make Limoncello from Sicilian lemon peels. At some point we thought — what about the juice? Limonata Sour is the answer. Fresh-pressed juice combined with the flavour from those same hand-peeled lemons, carbonated and bottled at 9% ABV. Not a lemon drink with alcohol in it. A proper drink that happens to come in a bottle.

  • We use the whole lemon — both parts. The peels are macerated to extract the essential oils, the same way we make our Limoncello. The juice goes in fresh. Then we carbonate it. The flavour comes entirely from the fruit. That's the whole idea.

  • Most lemon RTDs are built on juice from concentrate, added aromas, and stabilisers — shortcuts that get a drink onto shelves cheaply. The result tastes like a flavoured soft drink with alcohol in it. We use fresh juice, hand-peeled lemon extraction, and no stabilisers. The quality is structural, not cosmetic.

  • Aperitivo strength — closer to a Limoncello Spritz than a beer. Two reasons for it. At 9%, citrus oils carry more effectively — the drink has weight, presence, and a proper finish. And at this strength, it's naturally stable. No additives needed to hold it together.

  • Entirely in Austria. The lemons come from Sicily — the same farmers we've worked with for our Limoncello. Everything else happens here in Vienna. Austrian wheat spirit, Austrian spring water.

  • No. Fresh whole lemons, hand-peeled and pressed shortly after arrival. Both juice and peel go in. Nothing wasted.

  • Yes. No animal-derived ingredients, gluten-free.

  • Cold, over ice, in a real glass. A pinch of salt or a slice of fresh lemon sharpens it. At 9% it's built like a cocktail — treat it like one.

  • It's a natural food drink — the acidity cuts fat, stands up to spice, and cleans the palate. Good with fried food, seafood, shellfish, spicy dishes, olives, salted nuts.
